navigation practice on a mountain skills course

Dates for Mountain Skills Courses 2015 announced

Our mountain skills courses are very popular.  We run these courses every spring,  giving you the opportunity to join one of our fun groups and pick up some essential skills such as micro navigation, emergency ropework, scrambling techniques, using a GPS and night/poor visibility navigation.  We can also offer these mountain skills courses for a group of 2 or more people at any time from April- October.

Although the ultimate aim is to gain new skills and fine tune existing ones, our mountain skills courses are great fun too. They are are not stuffy or contrived excercises but proper days out on the hills, enjoyable in their own right!
