He is still a regular visitor to this unique and easily accessible area.
Ian has a wealth of experience throughout Europe, especially in Spain and the Canary islands which he considers to be an excellent arena for exploring a beautiful environment and adventurous pursuits. A favourite mountain area is The Picos De Europa in Northern Spain to which he has led many trips. and continues to do so.
Latin America is another destination Ian is thoroughly familiar with, having lived there, travelled there extensively, and over the past 20 years led numerous expeditions to the Andes of Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador.
Originally trained as a professional musician, Ian enjoys all sorts of music, both playing and listening. He is a fluent Spanish speaker and through regular work with French clients his French is not bad either!
