The trip that gives you a true wilderness experience without toiling under a heavy pack! We take a boat from the tiny village of Elgol in southern Skye into Coruisk, inaccessible by road and surrounded by the towering peaks of the Cuillin on all sides, to enjoy an adventurous wild camping experience. Wildlife abounds and fantastic rugged scenery is around every corner. We supply all the camping equipment you need, and provide meals and hot drinks. Our accommodation on this Cuillin wild camping adventure is normally on a twin sharing basis in large 3-person tents, although it may be possible to request a single tent, for which a surcharge may be payable – please ask in advance. Your guide will make sure you have a remarkable adventure and great fun round the campfire in the evenings. Ideal for families and novice campers. Bring your swimming things! There’s lots to do in the Coruisk area and we can vary the program to suit your needs. Why not try the walk back to our departure point at Elgol, crossing the infamous “Bad Step”? Or maybe climb up onto Sgurr na Stri for the best view in Britain. Your experienced guide can help you choose in safety. Our Cuillin wild camping adventure is great for families and young people however we regret that we can only take under 18s if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
On demand, daily from April – October. 1 night/2 day or 2 night/3 day programs are available.
